Two persons were killed on a motorbike this earlier weekend when a pickup truck hit them soon after it crossed the centre line in western Franklin County, the Franklin County sheriff’s office reported.
The motorcycle driver, Joshua Kimbler, 43, of Logan, and his passenger, 40-yr-outdated Donielle Barker, of London, have been transported to OhioHealth Health professionals Clinic, the place they had been later on pronounced dead.
Investigators mentioned the crash happened at 1:35 p.m. Saturday. Charles Enterman, 51, of Pleasant Township, was driving a pickup truck north on Norton Road, just south of Johnson Street in Pleasant Township, when he crossed the centre line and into the southbound lane while rounding a curve.
Kimbler and Barker have been heading south on a bike and had been struck by Enterman’s pickup. The truck also hit the rear driver’s side of another northbound vehicle that was attempting a remaining convert, the sheriff’s office said.
Enterman and the driver of the motor vehicle, Phillip Panilchuck, 18, of Loganville, Georgia, were uninjured in the crash, the sheriff’s business claimed.
The sheriff’s office environment investigation into the incident is continuing.
